It was a sky like silk and satin
Pastel the colored world under mist
the setting sun paints clouds of fire
Canals reflect it through the black trees

I saw you right before me, as if you were close by
but I realized it wasn't true, and I fell in the mood to cry

And I still keep on moving, moving through my time
