Do you believe in lies
Do you believe that you ore free
Do you think you are wise
Do you live in a world of ease
Or in a world of cries
And can there be eternal peace
Or only war in disguise
It's a new time coming
With the feeling right back inside

Do you believe in fantasy
Do you find life in sighs
Do you believe in wishes
And the lights in children's eyes
Do you find joy in golden leaves
Do you listen to the breeze
Do you tell the age old trees
The truth, whatever it is

The poets of the former times
They used to have insights
And now they're but complaining
'bout nothing they can find
Do you care or never mind
Do you know what to do
Do you sometimes blame yourself
For the times are always new
